About Mockery

Mockery Brewing is a craft brewery that focuses on bold flavors while maintaining the utmost respect for balance and quality. Our beer is handcrafted with specific attention paid to the sources of our ingredients. We do not restrict our beer to guidelines and rules, but brew for the love of the craft and our customers. From the novice to the expert connoisseur, we view our patrons as our friends and aim to provide an open, carefree environment for all to enjoy. We are Colorado natives, family owned, and pursue the happiness in life one fantastic beer at a time.

Zach Rabun / Owner, Brewer

Zach Rabun is the owner and mastermind behind Mockery Brewing. Zach has worked the full spectrum of the beer industry. He started out his career working for the little known, Coors Brewing Company, and eventually became Head Brewer at Elk Mountain Brewing. Zach graduated from CU, Boulder and most recently attended the Siebel Institute in Chicago. Zach is a self-proclaimed fantasy football guru.

Justin Burnsed / Head Brewer

Justin is a graduate of the Master Brewers program at the University of California, Davis. Justin has brewed beers at Stone Brewery in Escondido, California and BrewDog in Fraseburgh, Scotland. Most recently, Justin was the Brewmaster for Prospectors Brewing in Mariposa, California. He is also a blogger and feature writer for Brew Your Own magazine.

After shredding gnar with the brahs of Vail, Eric’s hanging up his board and trading in the snow for some hops. While attending CSU in Fort Collins Eric discovered the world of great craft brews and fell in love. He is now ready to hop on board with Mockery in a quest to be the greatest brewery EVER! You will find Eric in the taproom manning the bar (or at a Widespread Panic show).

Mockery’s brewing philosophy started out simple, delicious and unique. We didn’t want to adhere to any restrictive beer laws or specifications, but rather focus on bold flavors and quality beer we enjoyed to brew.
